The intersection of Art, Design and Architecture is the creative catalyst for Wendi Copeland’s new collection, “TERRAIN”. Mixing different artistic materials, Wendi utilizes the visual fracturing of space to reflect the core of urban and rural landscapes. She captures the everyday organic colors, textures and patterns that are embedded in our surroundings to create a new contemporary line of pillows that enhance indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Life in Canada, Europe, the US; combined with work in fashion, communications, travel and tourism have greatly contributed to how Wendi sees the world around her and translates those observations into her art. Curiosity, creativity and innovation are at the heart of all her design solutions.
Wendi is an inter-disciplinary artist whose paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures have been exhibited internationally. She has studied at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Emily Carr University of Art + Design, where she received her BFA.
“TERRAIN” from the COPELAND COLLECTION, is curated so you can combine and cross-pollinate the designs to create your own unique and original décor. The Copeland name honors Wendi’s father, Clare, and the business they started together, Copeland Communications.
